A new company called Efficas, St. Louis, MO, has been created for the discovery, development and marketing of bioactives, through partners, into the nutraceuticals market. Mark Braman, formerly with Martek, is CEO, Steven Phinney, formerly with Galileo Laboratories, is the vice president of research and development and Rodney Williams, also formerly with Galileo Laboratories, is vice president of marketing.
